Hearing those words, Joey retracted his claws in frustration, his old face burning red.

Joey had the typical personality of a modern young person—goofy and carefree with friends, but hesitant when it came to asking for borrowed money, inconveniencing others, or dealing with awkward situations.

He always blamed himself first before daring to complain about others.

So instead of getting angry, his first reaction was embarrassment.

He thought to himself that it was his own fault for being too complacent and forgetting that his status was different now. Casually sitting at someone else's table without considering their feelings was indeed inappropriate.

Especially when he turned back to see the other person’s stunningly beautiful face, Joey was so mesmerized that he gawked with his mouth open. Any hint of hostility he might have perceived earlier suddenly seemed like his own illusion.

After all, how could someone so good-looking intentionally make things difficult for him?

The system, despite always roasting Joey, was now fuming like a protective mother hen.

[What the hell, who are they calling dirty?! Huh?! Who the hell are they calling dirty?!]

[We’re gonna eat! And today, I swear I’ll beat this uptight jerk to death!]

Joey was unexpectedly touched by the system’s protectiveness and hurried to calm it down.

"Alright, alright, hey, it’s just a meal, after all. It really is our fault… Besides, they didn't cause a scene or anything. They just asked the waiter to change tables. And I was already full anyway…"

The system's ragged breathing gradually stabilized, and it huffed.

[You're just saying that because he's handsome, you shallow dog!]

"Hehe."

Feeling warm inside, Joey rarely refuted the system this time.

He sneaked a peek at the young-looking man.

Unlike Garius, whose golden hair was dazzling, this person had soft, light blonde short hair that looked incredibly fluffy with slightly curled ends.

His fair complexion and refined features gave him an air of quiet elegance.

He wasn't particularly tall by Ottoman standards—he might not even be an adult yet.

Dressed formally, he exuded a noble and graceful aura, like a prince straight out of a fairy tale, embodying all things beautiful and refined.

Seeing him whispering to the waiter with a slight furrow of his brow, seemingly genuinely concerned about disturbing other guests, Joey felt even more embarrassed.

Maybe… he should apologize?

But he wouldn’t understand Joey’s language anyway…

The system, still sour, muttered, [So what if he’s good-looking? He might be a snake in disguise. He literally reported us for eating.]

Joey chuckled at that. "Come on, not everyone’s a villain. If we were in a restaurant and some furry pet jumped onto the table, we'd say something too."

Just as Joey was debating whether to apologize before leaving, the unexpected happened—the young man approached them first.

Seeing those long legs striding toward him, Joey immediately stopped talking to the system.

Since he was at fault, he had to show the proper attitude. He stood up straight and nervously fidgeted with his claws.

"I didn't notice at first and thought you were some kind of new species. Turns out, you’re human…"

Joey heard the man muttering before suddenly bending down.

Caught off guard, that prince-like face appeared right in front of Joey’s beady black eyes.

W-Whoa…

A BEAUTY ATTACK!!!

Joey’s heart thumped violently twice.

His dad was handsome, sure, but in a completely different way.

Garius was the cool and aloof type.

This young prince, on the other hand, was the warm and charming heartthrob type!

Wow—he’s so handsome—

"So, you’re the little pet Garius Heine adopted?"

Just as the lovestruck Joey was appreciating, ahem, admiring the man’s beauty, the previously frowning young prince suddenly changed his demeanor.

He leaned in, smiling as sweetly as icing on a cake.

His slender, fair hand reached out, slipping through the ridiculous crocodile costume’s mouth, and gently cupped Joey’s cheeks.

The warmth of his touch, combined with the intimate eye contact, made the whole thing feel oddly… intimate.

"Uh, um, uh—"

Joey, completely flustered by the sudden face-holding and intense eye contact from a handsome guy, blinked rapidly. His ears subtly turned red.

The system rolled its eyes in frustration. [Have some dignity! Did you forget this guy just called your claws dirty?! Bite him already!]

Joey squinted happily. "But he’s so handsome…"

[……] Damn it, you hopeless face-lover!

"Oh? You speak Ancient Earth language?"

The third prince, Harry, raised an intrigued brow at the ridiculous-looking but amusing little creature before him. Seeing Joey’s dumbfounded expression, he chuckled.

"Looks like you don’t understand Ottoman's language."

Joey was about to nod but then remembered he wasn’t supposed to reveal that he could understand Ottoman's language. He quickly stopped himself and instead grinned widely at the kind and beautiful man in front of him.

Hello, handsome!

Harry’s eyes glimmered.

A pet that couldn’t talk, couldn’t tattle, and looked so innocent and adorable…

And, most importantly, belonged to Garius Heine.

Yes—Garius Heine’s thing.

Looking at this creature, Harry was immediately reminded of that man.

An uncontrollable, malicious thought surged within him.

What would happen if Garius’s beloved little pet were harmed?

Would that cold and indifferent man, who acted as if nothing in the world could shake him, finally lose control?

Would he rage?

Would he break?

—Just the thought of it sent a thrilling shiver down Harry’s spine.

His thumb brushed against the corner of Joey’s eye, and he leaned in closer.

His rich, sensual voice, with a slight tremor, slithered out like a snake hissing:

"You’re really cute."

Joey barely had time to blush before he heard the next words—

"Too bad I despise all things beautiful, especially those that belong to him. Just seeing them makes me sick!"

Joey’s smile froze.

The beautiful mask cracked, revealing the twisted darkness underneath.

The elegant prince’s delicate features contorted—he was a deranged lunatic!

As Joey stared in shock, the once affectionate golden-green eyes widened, pupils quivering with excitement—

"Want to hear a secret? Hmm? Hehe… I loathe your master. I despise him and everything he owns, including useless garbage like you!"

"Garius Heine—I will destroy him, conquer him! Break his proud spine, shatter his strength, and make sure he never stands tall again!"

"He looks at me like an insect? Fine—then I’ll rip his spine out and mount it on a stake in front of my throne for all to admire, day and night! What do you think?"

"Say something, little pet…"

That eerily drawn-out voice, full of cruel amusement, made Joey’s skin crawl.

His body stiffened in primal terror.

And then—

Harry’s cold fingers pressed against Joey’s eyes, forcefully pushing up the corners to mimic an arrogant expression.

His voice was a whisper of pure madness:

"Come now, let me help you look the part—"

Joey’s system screamed in panic.

   [RUN, YOU IDIOT! HE’S INSANE!]

Joey, frozen in terror, could only gape like prey caught in a predator’s jaws.

Then—

A voice called out.

“Your Highness? You’re here too?”

A woman’s casual greeting broke the tension.

Harry’s deranged movements paused.

By the time he straightened up and turned around, the madness had vanished.

Smiling gently, he said, "I arrived a bit late. Too many reporters, you know how Father is."

Watching him go, Joey’s legs finally gave out.

He had to find his dad. NOW.

He wants to eat children, and he even tried to gouge out my eyeballs.

He also said that sooner or later, he’s going to kill you!

Wuwu… I’ll never be a face-con again. Damn it, yandere beauties are seriously terrifying…

“Joey?!”

Garius’s usually calm and expressionless heart wavered for a moment when he saw the little human return crying.

After picking him up and carefully checking him over, he realized that the little thing was just making a fuss without actually shedding a single tear.

But his small face was indeed pale, making Garius frown deeply.

Joey was very well-behaved and rarely caused trouble with others. That meant only one thing—someone had bullied him first.

Garius’s expression darkened, and he turned his head to the quickly approaching Tharsis, his voice cold. “Look into this.”

“Yes!”

Seeing that someone had dared to bully their mascot, Tharsis’s face turned just as dark. He immediately nodded and disappeared into the crowd without hesitation.

Looking down at the small, trembling crocodile in his arms, Garius softened his tone to comfort him.

“It’s alright. I’m here. No one can hurt you.”

“…Mhm…”

As Joey clung to his dad’s leg, he felt his curly fur being gently stroked. The frantic beating of his heart gradually calmed down.

It’s true what they say—there’s nothing better in the world than having a dad. A child with a father is like a treasure.

After encountering a yandere, Joey no longer found anyone good-looking. Only his dad was the most reliable and the most handsome!

“Garius, go home! Go home!”

He wasn’t staying in this damned place any longer! Even if Audrey Hepburn and young Leonardo DiCaprio showed up, he still wouldn’t stay!

Joey anxiously urged Garius in Ottoman language, insisting they go back.

And since Lord Heine always doted on his little human, he didn’t hesitate for even a second—he immediately took him away from the banquet.
