TIIGM Chapter 4: Hubby is the Best

The little fool absolutely loved tidying up their home.

This was something Alpha had only recently discovered. Every day when he came home from work, he would notice small changes in the house. Sometimes there was a new bunny figurine on the coffee table, sometimes a new iron begonia plant on the windowsill.

The changes were small, yet they made the house feel much more lived-in.

During this time, the little fool also returned to his old home a few times, carrying back a lot of his belongings. "These are all my treasures!" he said.

Alpha quietly observed a row of faded stuffed toys.

"These?" Alpha found it hard to believe. He had some understanding of the little fool’s family situation and knew his family wasn’t great. He had also heard about Father Xu’s favoritism, but he never expected it to be this extreme.

"Yep!" The little fool didn’t notice Alpha’s hesitation. He carefully took out the plush toys one by one. The Omega gently placed them in a display cabinet—the same cabinet Alpha had installed after hearing the little fool wanted to bring things back from his old home.

After arranging them neatly, the little fool turned to his stuffed toys and declared, "From now on, this is our home!"

The little fool was truly happy, his voice overflowing with excitement. He cheerfully talked to his stuffed toys.

He wasn’t alone anymore! They all had a home now. The little fool had a super amazing husband and a super big home!

The next day.

"Hubby, you're back!" The little fool had been drinking warm milk. When he heard the sound of the door opening, he ran out excitedly, a faint milk mustache still on his lips.

"Hmm, here you go." Alpha casually pulled out a bouquet of flowers from behind his back. It had suddenly started raining outside, and just as he stepped out of the office, he came across an elderly woman selling flowers.

The old lady said, "Buy a flower and give it to the one you love."

The one he loved? For some reason, the first image that popped into Alpha’s mind was that little fool. Along with that thought, a glimpse of the row of plush toys that had been washed so many times they had faded.

As if possessed, Alpha walked over.

Looking at the bouquet he had bought in the rain, droplets of water slid down the simple wrapping and landed on Alpha’s expensive suit.

Hmph, it’s not like he bought it for someone he loved.

He… he…

He just wanted the old lady to finish work quickly since it was drizzling!

The moment the little fool saw the flowers, his eyes lit up.

"F-For me?" The little fool was so happy he didn’t know what to do with himself. He reached out to take the flowers, then hurriedly wiped his hands on his clothes, even though they weren’t dirty at all.

Someone actually gave him flowers!

Oh my, oh my, how could his husband be so sweet?

"No one has ever given me flowers before!" The little fool scratched his head nervously and explained with a shy smile, "They all say I’m not very smart."

The little fool didn’t mean anything by it—he really had never received flowers before. Even small gifts or candies were rare. The only ones he had ever received were from his mother when he was very young. But after his mother passed away, he almost never got presents again.

Back in school, many Omega classmates would receive chocolates, flowers, or scented cards during holidays, but the little fool never did.

He knew he was different. Others could quickly understand and respond to conversations, but he couldn’t.

So, the little fool had always been the one forgotten in the corner.

No one paid attention to him, and he never received any gifts.

But today, the little fool finally got one!

"Thank you, hubby!" The little fool sniffled, took the flowers, and gave his husband a big hug. "Hubby, I’m really, really, really so, so happy~"

He nuzzled his head against his husband's neck. So this is what it feels like to receive flowers? It was as if a little deer had moved into his heart, bouncing around excitedly. The little fool even felt like he could run ten laps around the villa right now!

His husband was really, really the best, the little fool thought again.

Alpha looked at the Omega clinging to him like a little puppy. Was it really that exciting? What an overreaction!

This was way too clingy! Alpha ignored the redness creeping up his ears and pretended to push the little fool away.

"Ahem, f-find a vase first."

The little fool clapped his hands. "Oh, right!"

"Hubby is so thoughtful."

Alpha turned and went upstairs to sit in his study. After a long while, he silently took out his phone, thinking about asking his assistant to order an even bigger, even prettier bouquet.

Forget it. Alpha stared at his assistant’s contact for a moment before putting the phone down.

He might as well go to the flower shop himself.
