The two fell into silence, neither saying a word.

Ye Tong touched his face, which had no warmth yet burned like fire, and whispered, “…Why did you suddenly kiss me?”

Lu Yan said indifferently, “I didn’t.”

Ye Tong’s eyes widened. “Your face must be made of iron! How can you lie with a straight face?”

Lu Yan chuckled. “I was just feeding you.”

Ye Tong froze, only then realizing that the constant hunger that had plagued him had suddenly disappeared.

Lu Yan explained, “I was born with spiritual power far stronger than ordinary people. You absorb spiritual energy through human fear, but receiving it directly from me has the same effect… That’s why I can touch you.”

Ye Tong stammered, “Ah… haha, so you were feeding me… Then… why didn’t you say so earlier? You let me starve for so long.”

Lu Yan pinched his chin. “Are you full now?”

Ye Tong tensed up. “Full, full.”

Lu Yan: “Have some more.”

Ye Tong waved his hands frantically. “No need, no need! I—I have to maintain my figure.”

Without another word, Lu Yan lowered his head and kissed him again.

A minute later, Ye Tong, his face flushed, pushed him away. “Enough, enough! I’m stuffed.”

Lu Yan: “Enough?”

Ye Tong: “Really, enough.”

Lu Yan, expressionless: “I think you’re still hungry.”

Ye Tong: “...Hey! Stop it! Are you addicted to this? Be honest!”
