A minute later, Ye Tong stormed back in angrily.

Lu Yan smirked. “Go on, leave.”

Ye Tong huffed. “I’m an earthbound spirit. I can’t leave.”

Lu Yan continued playing LOL. “Then behave yourself.”

Ye Tong pouted and crawled into the computer case. “I’m going to mess things up!”

Lu Yan clicked his tongue. “Tsk.”

Ye Tong wriggled inside, messing with the hardware. “Let’s see you play now! All you do is play games all day!”

On the screen, all the game characters suddenly turned into long-haired female ghosts.

Lu Yan grabbed Ye Tong’s exposed ankle and pulled him out. “Looking for trouble?”

Ye Tong was on the verge of tears. “You leave! Find a more easily scared person to haunt!”

Lu Yan pulled him into his arms and pressed him down. “Stay put. If you keep messing around, I’ll have you exorcised.”

Ye Tong was so frightened that he sat obediently on Lu Yan’s lap.

And so, Lu Yan happily played LOL all afternoon.

That night, as Lu Yan slept, he suddenly felt a weight on his chest. Lifting the blanket, he found Ye Tong curled up on top of him.

Lu Yan asked calmly, “What are you doing?”

Ye Tong spoke eerily, “Scaring you.”

Lu Yan smirked and traced a finger down Ye Tong’s stiff little face. “Crawling into my bed in the middle of the night just to scare me?”

Ye Tong was smug. “This is a classic scene from Ju-On.”

Lu Yan: “Finished scaring me?”

Ye Tong nodded seriously. “Mhm.”

Lu Yan dragged him up, flipped over, and held him in his arms. “Then sleep.”

Ye Tong panicked. “You’re sleeping while hugging a ghost?!”

Lu Yan: “Mhm.”

Ye Tong: “Can’t you at least show a little fear? Respect me as a ghost!”

Lu Yan remained expressionless. “I’m terrified.”

Ye Tong: “…”

Lu Yan tightened his arms. “Better hold you even closer.”

Ye Tong struggled angrily. “You’re just a big pervert!”
