Ye Tong had gone hungry for another day and was feeling faint from starvation.

Lu Yan was happily cooking in the kitchen, completely ignoring the fact that his house was haunted by a vengeful spirit.

Ye Tong squatted miserably inside the wok: Are you trying to starve me to death?!

Lu Yan calmly continued cooking, the spatula passing right through Ye Tong’s ghostly form as he stirred the ingredients in the pan.

Ye Tong, on the verge of tears, took off his shoes and started scratching his foot.

Lu Yan yelled, “Damn it!”

Ye Tong rubbed his stomach. After months of starvation, he had finally managed to eat a tiny bite.

Lu Yan regained his composure. “Get out of the wok.”

Ye Tong: Can you yell one more time? You were scared just now, weren’t you? That’s how I was able to eat!

Lu Yan glared at him.

Ye Tong: Don’t make me take my pants off.

Lu Yan grabbed him by the collar and flung him outside.

Ye Tong floated up to the ceiling in shock. How can you touch me?!

Lu Yan said coldly, “I told you, I have yin-yang eyes.”

Ye Tong: That’s not right! Yin-yang eyes only let you see ghosts, not touch them!

Lu Yan cracked his knuckles. “Well, I can touch you.”

Ye Tong clung to the chandelier and wailed, Being a ghost is too hard… too hard…

Lu Yan slept until noon and groggily got up to use the bathroom.

Ye Tong sneakily followed him. While Lu Yan was washing his hands, Ye Tong snapped his fingers—instantly, the water from the faucet turned into blood.

Lu Yan didn’t even twitch an eyebrow. He calmly continued washing his hands, and even splashed his face with the blood.

Behind him, Ye Tong wailed dramatically: I died so horribly—boohoohoo—there’s a ghost here—

Lu Yan suddenly spun around, his face covered in blood.

Ye Tong shrieked and dove into the toilet tank.

The ghostly spell broke, and the blood turned back into water. Lu Yan wiped his face with a towel and snorted. “Pathetic.”

Ye Tong poked his head out of the water tank, looking aggrieved. Why did you suddenly turn around?! Don’t you know your whole face was covered in blood?!

Lu Yan: “I was having fun.”

Ye Tong: Why did you scare me?! What kind of person does that?!

Lu Yan: “Look who’s talking.”

Ye Tong: I don’t care, you have to apologize to me!

Lu Yan stayed silent and opened his laptop to play League of Legends.

Ye Tong slammed the door in frustration. I’m running away from home!

Lu Yan didn’t even look up. “Okay.”
