RAAS Final Chapter 103

The mission on Earth was absurdly simple, likely just an F-level task, with the objective of collecting twenty plant specimens.

This was child's play—so easy that even an outsider could breeze through it, let alone Shi Qing, a native of Earth.

However… Shi Qing hadn’t noticed one crucial detail about the character he had crossed into.

He had turned into a cat…

Shi Qing wasn’t too bothered. After all, the difference between a panda and a cat wasn’t that big. Neither were human, and he adapted quickly.

But… his host…

He stiffly turned his fluffy head and looked at the elegant black cat sitting beside him.

Its sleek fur, graceful posture, and deep blue eyes—resembling the vast ocean rather than the usual golden hue—were as mesmerizing as glass beads.

What an unbelievably beautiful cat!

Thinking of his host, Shi Qing’s vertical pupils were practically bursting with pink bubbles.

As expected, even after turning into a cat, his host was still the most stunning feline—the one that instantly captured his heart!

At first, he had been a bit frightened, but now all that remained was excitement. Shi Qing leaned forward, opening his mouth to greet the other cat, but to his surprise, as soon as he spoke, it came out as:
“Meow… meow meow… meow meow meow…”

The soft voice of a little kitten successfully made the beautiful black cat twitch its whiskers.

Shi Qing wanted to say more, but before he could, the black cat approached him, lowered its head slightly, and gently picked him up by the scruff of his neck.

Suddenly lifted off the ground, Shi Qing was startled, but before he could react, his body flipped and landed securely on the black cat’s soft fur.

Shi Qing meowed a few times, but his host ignored him.

He meowed again, but the black cat had already leaped gracefully forward.

The speed wasn’t slow, so Shi Qing quickly settled himself, fearing he might get thrown off and end up face-planting on the ground—that would be way too ungraceful!

As the two cats moved forward, they passed by a large floor-to-ceiling window of a nearby store, and Shi Qing finally got a clear look at himself.

In the reflection, a sleek and handsome black cat walked elegantly like a panther, while on its back was a small, fluffy white furball, no bigger than a palm. It was hard to determine the breed, but its fur was thick and smooth, making anyone who saw it want to reach out and pet it.

This striking contrast of black and white, with both cats walking proudly down the street, instantly triggered a wave of excited screams from the surrounding girls.

“So cute, so cute, so cute! Is this a dad carrying his son? But wait, don’t cats usually carry their kittens by the scruff? Why is he carrying him on his back?”

“That’s not the point! The point is that this pose is so adorable!”

“Look at how well-behaved the little kitten is, lying there so obediently!”

“The dad is so handsome too! So cool and dominant!”

“Oh my god… I just got a new idea for a story! A father-son relationship! The cat turns human! A strong and doting top with a soft, cute, and silly bottom! Definitely a dominant, older seme! And they’re both cats!”

“Hehe… hehe… hehehe! You know, I heard that cats have barbs on their little ding-dongs, so when they, you know, do the thing… hehe…”

“Pfft! You’re so lewd, does your mom know? But… that does sound kind of hot (﹃), a submissive, small cat… totally fits the trope… hehehe…”

“Right? Right? You could write it like this, or like that, or even like that!”

“Shh! Keep your voice down! There’s a crackdown going on lately; you don’t wanna end up in jail!”

“Ahem… ahem…”

Shi Qing, who had heard the entire conversation, was shaking like a leaf.

It had been a while, but the girls from his homeland were still as terrifying as ever!
They were just two cats! What on earth were they imagining?!

Father and son? Submissive uke? Barbed… WHAT?!

And seriously, is it even possible for a black cat to have a white kitten? Please, be rational, ladies!

But since he couldn’t speak human words, all he could do was let out a helpless “meow” and continue lying on his host’s back.

Ever since turning into a cat, his host hadn’t said a single word. If Shi Qing weren’t absolutely sure that this was his host, he might have started to wonder if the black cat was just an ordinary cat.

He really wanted to hear his host meow just once! It had to sound amazing!

Wait… could it be that his host didn’t want to make a “meow” sound?!

Shi Qing’s imagination ran wild in an instant.

A beautiful host with cat ears, letting out soft meows, his face turning slightly red from embarrassment… Oh my god! Nosebleed alert—stay strong, nosebleed!

Immersed in his fantasies, Shi Qing meowed a couple of times, but the black cat had already turned a corner and stepped onto a familiar street.

As soon as Shi Qing saw the surroundings, he snapped back to reality, feeling a sudden tightness in his chest.

This was… the road home.

That indescribable feeling of “closer to home, greater the anxiety” washed over him, and when he finally saw the person approaching, he froze in place.

The man before him was tall, dressed in a dark shirt and fitted black trousers, with a simple black coat draped over him. The outfit was understated yet elegant, enhancing his already striking appearance.

He had matured significantly—no longer a young boy, but a grown man.

A man who now carried the weight of this family.

Shi Qing silently murmured in his heart:
Shi Yue, big brother, long time no see.

The black cat leaped onto a wall, giving them a higher vantage point, allowing Shi Qing to see more clearly.

Shi Yue had just stepped out of a car. A moment later, the backseat door opened, and a slender woman stepped out. She had fair skin and wore a fitted black dress—modest yet graceful.

When she turned her face, Shi Qing took one glance and instantly recognized her.

Ya Qing-jie.

She had been in a relationship with his brother since their university days, but due to Shi Qing’s situation, they had never gotten married. Now… they were probably finally together.

Shi Qing stared blankly for a moment. The next second, a little child jumped out from the back seat of the car. He was around five or six years old, with chubby arms and legs, dressed in a black-and-white striped down jacket. He wore a panda-eared hat and a fluffy scarf, looking absolutely adorable.

He leaped into Shi Yue’s arms and planted a big kiss on his face.

Shi Qing froze for a moment, then was overcome with excitement!

It was Shi Yue’s son!

He—he had a nephew now!

His parents had a grandchild!

The small family of three had just stepped out of the car and were about to ring the doorbell when the door opened. A middle-aged woman appeared, her eyes curving gently in a warm and kind expression.

Shi Qing took just one look at her, and his tears became uncontrollable, falling like raindrops.

Mom... He had truly seen his mother again.

The little boy jumped up and wrapped his arms around his grandmother, giving her a big kiss. Only then did Shi’s mother’s smile deepen, as she returned a kiss to her precious grandson.

As the family chatted, Shi’s father also came out.

In Shi Qing’s memory, his father had always been tall and imposing, like a mountain. But now, his back was slightly hunched. Though he still looked dignified, the strands of white hair at his temples struck a painful chord in Shi Qing’s heart.

Memories flooded back like a tidal wave.

Shi Qing’s childhood, his teenage years, and even the moments before his death had all been filled with happiness.

They were an ordinary family, with occasional quarrels and little hardships in life, but nothing could shake the deep love they had for each other.

One family, one heart—warm and harmonious.

Even at the very end, they had never given up on him. His father, his mother, his brother, his entire family—all had wished for him to survive, to live happily.

While Shi Qing was lost in thought, the family had already gotten into the car.

The black business car glided forward. Only then did the black cat pick Shi Qing up and chase after them.

It easily kept up. After about an hour, they arrived at their destination.

Only then did Shi Qing realize what day it was.

His memorial day.

Nine years ago, he had lost the battle against illness and was laid to rest here.

The family stood in silent remembrance. Shi’s father and mother closed their eyes tightly, silently praying for their departed son, hoping that he was living peacefully in another world.

Shi Qing stared blankly, only reacting when he saw tears slip from his mother’s eyes. Unable to hold back, he buried himself in the black cat’s fur, sobbing softly.

After all this time, he still lived in their hearts.

No matter how many years passed, no matter life or death, they were family.

They would remember him until the very end.

When the ceremony ended, Ya Qing supported Shi’s mother, while Shi’s father walked beside her. Shi Yue followed by his father’s side, and the group left in silent grief.

As they turned a corner, the little boy at the back caught sight of a small white fluffy creature.

He blinked and quietly approached, tilting his head as he gazed at the little ball of fluff. His round, bright eyes were filled with curiosity as he asked, “Why are you crying?”

Shi Qing was stunned.

The little boy gently stroked his back and said softly, “Don’t be scared. Do you want to come home with me?”

On November 13th, on Shi Qing’s ninth death anniversary, the Shi family welcomed two new members.

Mo Mo and Xiao Bai.

A black and a white cat, brought home by little Shi Tan.

These two legendary cats remained by the Shi family’s side for many years. Even when the family moved and little Shi Tan grew up, their stories were still told by the neighbors.

The white cat was adorable and well-behaved, bringing joy to Shi’s parents every day.

The black cat never acted cute, never even made a sound, but wherever the white cat was, he was always there too—day or night.

These two incredibly intelligent cats accompanied Shi’s aging parents through their final years.

They even helped them gradually heal from the pain of losing their son.

Shi Qing had never imagined that he would return home in such a way, but unexpectedly, he felt deeply content.

He was back by his parents’ side. He could now make them happy in a simple way. He could stay with them quietly.

As a cat, he fulfilled his final duty—to protect his family one last time.

Dad, Mom, I’m home.

I’m right here with you. This time, let me take care of you.

Back in the system space.

Shi Qing still felt a sense of loss. After thirty years of silence, Qin Mo finally spoke. He stroked Shi Qing’s neck and said in a low, husky voice, “Qing Qing.”

Shi Qing lifted his head, stunned for a moment, before looking at Qin Mo. His deep, dark eyes reflected only one person—Shi Qing himself.

Shi Qing smiled and stood on his toes, pressing a kiss to Qin Mo’s lips. “Thank you, Qin Mo.”

The kiss deepened, becoming lingering and intimate.

As they embraced, Shi Qing leaned into Qin Mo’s arms and whispered the words that would forever bring peace to his partner’s heart:

“I only have you. Don’t leave me.”

We have each other.

That’s enough.

The End.
