Lu Yan opened the door with an ice cream in one hand and a shopping bag in the other.

Ye Tong flew at him like the wind, crying, “I was playing LOL, and they called me an elementary school kid!”

Lu Yan took a bite of his ice cream, keeping a straight face. “Have you finished your homework? How dare you play games if you haven’t?”

Ye Tong immediately started hitting him. “You’re bullying me too!”

Lu Yan pinched his nose. “Hubby will help you crush them.”

Ye Tong clung to him, sniffling. “I want some ice cream.”

Lu Yan took a big bite. “Oh.”

Ye Tong: “You’re doing this on purpose!”

Lu Yan leaned down and kissed him.

Ye Tong blushed and licked his lips.

Lu Yan: “Sweet?”

Ye Tong: “Sweet.”

Lu Yan: “Pervert.”

Ye Tong was speechless. “…I was talking about the ice cream!”

Lu Yan chuckled. “What else do you want to eat? I’ll feed you.”

Ye Tong rolled his eyes. “You just want an excuse to kiss me.”

Lu Yan replied matter-of-factly, “What’s wrong with letting your hubby kiss you?”

Ye Tong buried his face in Lu Yan’s shirt. “Ahhh, stop talking!”

That morning, Lu Yan got up early and dressed neatly, looking full of energy.

Ye Tong floated over with a resentful expression. “Are you going on a date?”

Lu Yan: “Mm.”

Ye Tong was stunned. “Lu Yan!”

Lu Yan glanced at him. “Jealous?”

Ye Tong: “Obviously!”

Lu Yan chuckled. “I was joking. I got a job to exorcise a spirit.”

Ye Tong sighed in relief and tidied Lu Yan’s collar like a dutiful spouse. “Be careful. Not every ghost is as useless as I am…”

Lu Yan raised an eyebrow. “At least you know you’re useless.”

Ye Tong flipped him off. “Screw you. Just don’t come back.”

Lu Yan patted his cheek. “Hubby’s off to work.”

Ye Tong: “Hmph!”

Lu Yan teased, “Make sure to have dinner ready for me.”

Ye Tong: “As if I can even touch anything.”

Lu Yan: “Then just stay home, play your game, and get better. Don’t drag your teammates down.”

Ye Tong: “…”

Lu Yan advised him earnestly, “Slow birds need to start flying early.”

Ye Tong waved him off. “Just go already.”
