Art Style Shift!

These four words struck like a thunderclap over the heads of all employees at Aerslan Enterprises.

From the front desk girls to the ordinary staff, from the managers to the secretaries, everyone froze on the spot, wide-eyed, watching in shock as their always emotionless President Ruan walked into the office chatting and laughing — yes, laughing! — with a tall, intimidating man whose neck bore visible dark red tattoos.

President Ruan — the antisocial, cold, filthy rich President Ruan?!

Actually chatting and laughing while walking someone into his office?! And that man even looked impatient?!

Did I wake up in a dream?

A few employees pinched each other.

Hiss! Painful!

Everyone: …

Ah, so it's not a dream. Looks like the company might go bankrupt tomorrow.

They thought: why else would President Ruan actively approach someone like this?

Everyone knew that President Ruan Xingzhou was so cold he practically dropped ice shards when he walked. Rumor had it he even had psychological issues — antisocial, indifferent — though blessed with outstanding looks, intelligence, and, well, infinite money. Anyone who had met him could confirm:

Ruan Xingzhou was basically a walking robot.

Who could possibly marry a robot? Where would the human warmth come from?

Even veteran employees who had worked there for years had never seen President Ruan smile — maybe a few cold smirks at best.

A stunning woman, whose figure was so alluring even the uniform couldn’t hide it, leaned over to ask Secretary Wang in a whisper,
"Miss Wang, do you know who that man is?"

Secretary Wang snapped out of her daze, glanced at the woman, recognized her, and despite feeling annoyed inside, kept a neutral face:
"Never seen him before. But judging from his aura and commanding presence, he must be someone important."

She gave a thumbs-up.

The woman’s eyes lit up and she openly showed her excitement:
"Thanks, Miss Wang! I’ll bring you bubble tea later! Oh, and I have documents to submit — better get them ready now and maybe sneak in to see President Ruan later."

"Sure, sure, go ahead. President Ruan hates delays the most," Secretary Wang said with a smile. As the woman strutted away on her tall red heels, leaving behind a trail of perfume, Secretary Wang’s expression briefly twisted in disdain.

Tsk, another newbie thinking she can charm her way up.

This new secretary had been trying to butter up colleagues with snacks and drinks from day one, acting all flirty with the men and disrespectful toward the more senior staff.

Trying to seduce President Ruan? Please!

President Ruan would shut her down cold in a second!

Secretary Wang felt a little pleased. Watching the woman walk off with a new plan to cozy up to President Ruan’s friend, she sneered inwardly.

Did she think someone like that man — with his noble aura and overwhelming pride — could be lured by just any woman?
Get ready to be humiliated, you little minx!

With a secret smile, Secretary Wang carried a tray with two cups of tea and the documents toward the office. She figured offering tea would be better than coffee, given the serious and dignified vibe of the visitor.

Knocking lightly, she heard a "Come in," and carefully balanced the tray as she stepped inside.

The moment she opened the door —

She saw President Ruan leaning on the tall man's shoulder, whispering something so close their mouths nearly touched!

The tall man even looked visibly annoyed, eyebrows furrowed!

Holy sh*t!

Secretary Wang’s professional fake smile almost cracked on the spot.

But President Ruan didn’t seem to care one bit about her presence, acting just as clingy as before.

Given his condition, President Ruan treated everyone else like air anyway, so this wasn’t too surprising.

Quickly composing herself under the tall man’s stern gaze, Secretary Wang walked over and placed the tea in front of them.

When she glanced at President Ruan, she froze for a second.

Usually, President Ruan’s eyes were cold and lifeless, as if covered in an unmelting sheet of ice. Even though he was young, there was never any light in his eyes.

But today…

It was different.

How to describe it…?

Later, as she was eating lunch in the cafeteria, she finally realized:

The look in President Ruan's eyes was like a starving child on a drought-stricken land staring at an aid worker — shining with hope and joy, burning brightly after surviving disaster!

Wow, I’m a genius for coming up with that!

She cheered loudly:
"I’m so clever!"

Other employees eating nearby: …

Sigh, yet another coworker gone crazy from stress.

Everyone quietly moved away, pitying her.

Meanwhile, Secretary Wang’s excitement quickly shifted to horror.

Wait a minute!

Secretary Wang:
Why was President Ruan smiling at a man like that?!
Why did the always emotionless President Ruan act so intimately and even get rejected?!

Could it be…

President Ruan was trying to pursue that man?!

Lighting up with excitement, she grabbed her phone and frantically messaged the company group chat:
Comrades~ Big news!!

Meanwhile —

Back to right after Secretary Wang left the office:

Qian Ji sat upright on the couch, back straight, legs slightly apart, casually flipping through a magazine like he was reviewing official documents.

Because of his towering height, his long legs stretched forward, his powerful yet elegant physique filling out his suit impressively. His dark red tattoos peeked out from under his collar. His honey-toned skin shimmered faintly, making people want to kneel down and kiss his abs.

Ruan Xingzhou admired him for a while, then — without saying a word — reached out and placed his hand on Qian Ji’s chest.

He gently squeezed.

Qian Ji’s page-turning hand froze.

Unfazed, Ruan Xingzhou squeezed again — this time unbuttoning a shirt button and slipping his fingers inside.

Qian Ji raised an eyebrow high.

Ruan Xingzhou tilted his head, meeting those pitch-black, oppressively intense eyes.

Gold-tinted pupils locked onto cold black ones.

Qian Ji fell silent for a few seconds.

"...Human, what are you doing?"

"I'm seducing you," Ruan Xingzhou said very seriously.

"…………"

Qian Ji’s mouth twitched.

Seducing me?
With your dead-fish eyes and expressionless face?!
