TEDAWSCCP Chapter 4

Tong Yao accidentally interrupted someone confessing to Jiang Jin Yue. It just so happened to be May 20th, "520" (a homophone for "I love you" in Chinese).

Even after returning to his seat, he still felt guilty about his blunder. But then, another thought crossed his mind—if he hadn’t ruined the confession, what if that girl had succeeded? There were only half a month left until the college entrance exam. How could Jiang Jin Yue be distracted by something as trivial as a romance? He was supposed to be the top studen t in the grade, aiming for a prestigious national university!

With this in mind, Tong Yao's guilt faded, and he even felt a little relieved. But then, a sudden wave of sadness hit him.

One day, Jiang Jin Yue would fall in love. By then, there would be no college entrance exams, and it wouldn’t be considered an early romance. At that time, Tong Yao would have no reason to interfere anymore.

Feeling dejected, Tong Yao slumped onto his desk. His gaze fell to a corner of an envelope sticking out from the desk compartment. He pulled it out—it was a letter. Who would suddenly write him a letter?

He glanced around and found that no one was paying attention to him, so he opened the envelope.

"Three years have passed, and it seems like you've never noticed me. I can't hold it in any longer, so today, I'm confessing to you:

Tong Yao, I like you.

On June 8th, after the college entrance exams, I’ll be waiting for you in the small grove on campus.

—Hong Dian Dou
May 20th"

Tong Yao's jaw nearly dropped—someone actually confessed to him?! Wasn’t this something that only happened to Jiang Jin Yue?

If not for the clear "Tong Yao" written on the letter, he would have thought it had been misplaced, meant for Jiang Jin Yue instead.

The signature, "Hong Dian Dou"—it was obviously a nickname. But who could it be? The handwriting wasn’t familiar either.

Could it be Mu Yu Hong, the English class representative? No way—the whole class knew she liked Jiang Jin Yue. Then was it Li Hong Miao? That was even more impossible—she was the PE monitor’s girlfriend.

As the chemistry teacher, Chen Hong Juan, walked into the classroom, a ridiculous thought crossed Tong Yao’s mind—could it be her? He shuddered at the thought. No way, she already had two kids!

But in the end, it didn’t matter who it was.

Because no matter who wrote the letter, he couldn’t return their feelings. He simply couldn’t imagine himself liking anyone other than Jiang Jin Yue.

After all, he had been secretly in love with Jiang Jin Yue for three years. From the very first moment he saw him, until now—not once had his feelings wavered.
