Tong Yao stared in shock as a boy brushed past him—he was wearing the same outfit again.
The one he had matched clothes with was Jiang Jinyue, the school heartthrob, his classmate, the kind of person who was both academically and athletically outstanding, blessed with both looks and talent.
At this moment, Jiang Jinyue was walking directly ahead of Tong Yao, one hand casually tucked into his pocket, an earphone hanging from his ear. He was probably the only one in the entire school who dared to wear earphones openly—after all, top students had immunity, and he was undoubtedly listening to English.
A gentle breeze blew, lifting the strands of hair behind Jiang Jinyue’s ear. The oversized black T-shirt he wore billowed slightly, revealing the two bold characters "肥宅" (Fat Otaku) printed across it. Every step he took looked like a scene straight out of a shoujo manga.
He was probably the only one who could turn such an outfit from tacky into something effortlessly stylish.
Tong Yao glanced down at his own T-shirt, the same "肥宅" emblazoned across his chest, and felt the overwhelming urge to bury himself in a hole.
Girls passing by couldn’t help but steal glances at Jiang Jinyue.
"Look, it’s Jiang Jinyue from Class 8! So handsome!"
"His shirt is so unique—must be some kind of contrast-cute style."
"Oh my god, look at that guy—he’s wearing the same shirt as Jiang Jinyue!"
"Matching outfits aren’t the problem… the uglier one is the awkward one."
