RAAS Chapter 94: Origin World

Just as Shi Qing promised Xin Er, Qin Mo, as if perfectly in sync with him, instantly dealt with the two poachers.

He used devastating techniques that left no trace—not only were their bodies destroyed, but even their souls were completely obliterated.

Shi Qing wore a proud expression: When my host takes action, it’s clean and efficient—satisfaction guaranteed. 【Not at all!】

With the poachers dead, Xin Er was freed from the dark prison. The moment he saw the light again, he, being a soul entity, couldn’t scream or stomp his feet. Instead, he spammed Shi Qing with hundreds of ‘wide noodle tear’ emojis, flooding the chat to express his overwhelming joy.

Shi Qing's face darkened: Why is there no block function?! So frustrating!

With the death of the poachers—both at once—the system mission notifications rang loudly in their ears. Unsurprisingly, their mission was perfectly completed.

Shi Qing sent a message to Qin Mo. Then, another notification popped up: "System mission completed. Access to the Origin World granted. Please check the system space for details."

Returning to system space in 30 seconds.

At this moment, Xin Er sent another message: "Brother, I’ll never forget this life-saving grace! If you ever need my help, just say the word! I'll climb mountains and walk through fire without hesitation! I'm heading to the Origin World first to buy myself a body. When you arrive, let’s have a good chat!"

Shi Qing read the message, smiled, and replied with one word: "Okay."

Though he had never met this fellow Soul Awakener in person, their ‘online chats’ had been quite pleasant. Meeting in person later wasn’t a bad idea.

Upon returning to the system space, Shi Qing finally jumped out of his tiny armed pocket. The moment he landed, he transformed into his human form, his eyes shining brightly as he eagerly turned to his host. Excitedly, he said, "Qin Mo! I found out a lot of things!"

Qin Mo had just finished a fight. Although he found the last two enemies a bit too easy to kill, the opening battle was satisfying overall. His mood was already good, but when he saw those sparkling eyes, he felt even better.

He reached out and lightly touched the fair skin of his system's neck, a smile tugging at his lips. "Oh? Does it have something to do with that wisp of smoke earlier?"

Shi Qing was momentarily stunned before realizing—Xin Er had no physical body, so when he was freed from Li Mi, he was just a floating wisp of smoke. Even as someone who knew the situation, he hadn't noticed. But his host had?! So amazing!

Admiration, reverence, and devotion—he’d save those feelings for a later chat. Right now, business came first.

Shi Qing quickly relayed all the information he had gathered to Qin Mo, adding some of his own speculations.

When Qin Mo heard about the Origin World, he wasn’t surprised. With so many hosts and systems out there, the existence of such a world was only logical. He also didn’t react much to the poachers' motives—if there weren’t massive benefits involved, they wouldn’t have gone through so much trouble. As for the conflicts between hosts and Soul Awakeners, that was also expected. After all, not all systems were as obedient and well-behaved as his own dear Shi Qing. 【…】

It wasn’t until Shi Qing mentioned that different systems had different abilities that Qin Mo finally frowned slightly. Then he told Shi Qing, "Don't tell anyone about your ability."

Shi Qing nodded vigorously. "Mm-hmm, I understand."

He wasn’t that naive. From Xin Er’s words alone, he could tell he was different. Xin Er only had the ability to enhance his host’s physical constitution, yet he had been hunted for six whole worlds. If others found out about Shi Qing’s system shop and its endless resources, wouldn’t he become the ultimate prey—like a delicious Tang Monk’s flesh?!

However, an idea suddenly popped into his mind. He decided to comfort his host—yes, comfort. "I think… I might not be that powerful. Sure, the system shop has everything, but it takes a huge amount of points to buy anything. Xin Er’s ability may be simple, but maybe it doesn’t require points at all."

Qin Mo scoffed, "Points? What about them?"

Shi Qing: "…"

Qin Mo continued nonchalantly, "Isn't that something you can just get as much as you want?"

Shi Qing was speechless… Alright, I shouldn’t have tried discussing this topic with a host who earns 200,000 points per mission.

But, Host! Not all hosts are as overpowered as you, okay?!

Then again, Shi Qing quickly realized something—his host had a point. In the grand scheme of things, what were points? Their lives were endless. As long as they kept doing missions, points would flow into their pockets like a never-ending stream. But what about the items in the shop? If something wasn’t in stock, having millions of points wouldn’t matter. At the end of the day, the real problem wasn’t the price—it was whether the items even existed.

Having money but nothing to spend it on was the real tragedy.

After a brief pause, Qin Mo added, "Don't go out of your way to hide it, either. If you have to reveal your ability, just say it’s for physical enhancement."

Uh… Wouldn’t that make him seem exactly like Xin Er? Would that be okay?

But then Shi Qing understood Qin Mo’s reasoning. Ultimately, Qin Mo had only spent points on enhancing his body so far. Systems in the Origin World couldn’t truly hide their abilities because they were all directly reflected in their hosts. Everything was obvious at a glance, so there was no point in lying.

For now, Qin Mo had only displayed an enhanced physique, so Shi Qing saying his ability was the same wouldn't raise any eyebrows.

Although strengthening the body was certainly an advantage, compared to the all-powerful system shop, it was just an appetizer.

Upon completing the system mission, they didn’t receive any point rewards. The only benefit was unlocking access to the Origin World.

Shi Qing eagerly shared everything he had learned from Xin Er, then looked at Qin Mo expectantly. “Let’s go check out the Origin World!”

Qin Mo stroked his hair, his voice lowering as he gazed into Shi Qing’s bright eyes. “I searched for you for thirteen days.”

Shi Qing blinked.

“I didn’t sleep, day or night.”

Shi Qing: Damn, same here.

“I was really worried.”

Shi Qing’s eyes widened. After the initial surprise, his heart melted completely—it was as if someone had poured honey into it. So sweet!

“Qing Qing.”

“…Mm?”

“I want you.”

A deep, sultry voice. Ambiguous words. Shi Qing instantly froze.

From then on, words became unnecessary.

It wasn’t until Shi Qing was flipped over, turned this way and that, put in all sorts of positions, and dragged through multiple locations for an exhausting night of… activities that he finally realized—he’d been tricked.

He lay sprawled on a crimson bed, his body trembling as Qin Mo pressed against him from behind. He was both overwhelmed with pleasure and completely exhausted, his waist and knees aching beyond relief. He weakly begged for mercy, “Qin Mo, Qin Mo, no more, no more, really… no more…”

The man behind him didn’t stop. He kissed the smooth curve of Shi Qing’s back, then turned him over to face him, looking directly into his eyes. “Qing Qing.”

Shi Qing didn’t dare meet his gaze, covering his eyes with his hands.

Qin Mo gently removed them and, while still buried deep inside him, kissed him again. After their lips parted, he murmured the words that made Shi Qing completely surrender—

“I missed you so much.”

Shi Qing wanted to cry.

He also wanted to curse this ridiculous panda bloodline of his.

What panda bloodline?! This is a [censored] [censored] [censored] bloodline!

After all that intense exercise, they should have been physically wrecked. Instead, they were both miraculously at full strength, completely refreshed, with every buff maxed out.

This is just encouraging bad behavior!

Well… if that’s the case… then… might as well go with it…

Three days later, Shi Qing and Qin Mo finally arrived at the Origin World.

The teleportation process was the same as every time they traveled—dizzying and disorienting. But this time, unlike before, they didn’t get separated. They had held hands before they left, and when they arrived, their hands were still clasped together.

The first thing they saw was an endless expanse of white.

Shi Qing had imagined the Origin World many times, but seeing it in reality was still breathtaking.

It was a floating city, an island suspended in the sky.

But it didn’t hover over land or sea—it floated above countless worlds, reigning over all planes of existence, a mysterious realm above everything.

They had arrived at a vast platform. Before them stood a massive gate, while behind them was a sheer cliff. Peering down, they could see everything below with perfect clarity.

It was a mesmerizing sight—beneath the cliff was a chaotic yet magnificent scene, like an endless array of giant screens stacked atop one another. Each screen played a different story, some bizarre, some mundane, but there were so many that none could be clearly seen.

Shi Qing and Qin Mo stood silently, watching.

They knew these weren’t mere projections—they were glimpses of real, existing worlds.

As they gazed, a new presence approached from behind. Qin Mo lifted his head slightly and glanced back.

The newcomer casually greeted them, “Pretty amazing, huh? I was just as shocked when I first saw it.”

Shi Qing turned around and, upon seeing the person, his eyes widened in disbelief. His jaw dropped so much that an egg could fit inside. “Xin… Xin… Er?”

Xin Er blinked, then immediately roared, “Hey, hey, hey! Don’t look at me like that! I only bought a cheap body to save money, okay?! My real form is very handsome!”

Shi Qing’s mouth twitched.

A paper-thin figure… handsome?

That’s right—Xin Er’s newly purchased body was as cheap as could be. Calling it a “person” was generous; it was practically a floating sheet of paper. His so-called eyes and nose were drawn on!

It couldn’t get any simpler.

Seeing Shi Qing still scrutinizing him, Xin Er became flustered and huffed, “What are you looking at?! Hmph! I waited here for you two in this fragile body under this blazing sun for three whole days! Do you know how tough that was?! By the way, what the hell were you two doing for three days?! The system space is boring as hell—what could possibly be so fun that you stayed there for three days?!”

Cough cough… Xin Er’s question successfully diverted Shi Qing’s attention. His gaze wavered, and to avoid further questioning, he quickly changed the subject.

“Alright, alright, let’s go! Show us around.”

Seeing that Shi Qing had finally stopped looking down on his new body, Xin Er was extremely pleased. He floated ahead to lead the way, and the three of them passed through the massive gate, officially entering this strange and wondrous world.

Beyond the gate was a wide street, and contrary to Shi Qing’s expectations, the place was bustling with activity.

Shops of all kinds lined both sides of the street, with banners, advertisements, and promotional displays everywhere. The items on display were diverse and dazzling, covering all sorts of categories…

Shi Qing and Qin Mo weren’t the only ones stepping out of the giant gate—many others were arriving as well. Though… calling them "people" wasn’t entirely accurate. There were plenty of non-human entities among them, though humanoid figures were still the majority.

As soon as they emerged, the surrounding shops sprang into action with enthusiastic promotions:

“Special discounts! Crazy clearance sale! High-grade wound medicine for only 888! Quick-recovery pills for just 998! Miracle repair kits at the unbeatable price of 1198! Buy one, get two free! Buy two, get five! Buy five, get ten! Don’t miss out—this is a limited-time offer! After today, prices return to normal, and there will be no more promotions!”

Such down-to-earth marketing left Shi Qing speechless.

Noticing where Shi Qing’s gaze had landed, Xin Er quickly floated in front of him and warned, “Don’t fall for it! These are all scams targeting newcomers! These things are practically worthless—the wholesale price is just 98!”

Shi Qing was even more speechless.

What he really wanted to say was—these items only cost a single point in his system shop. Even 98 was way too expensive!
