Shi Qing was jolted awake by a nightmare. In the dream, he was like a madman, using all his strength to try and kill Qin Mo.

But Qin Mo didn’t move at all—he simply endured it.

His heart felt like it had been pricked by needles. Shi Qing's eyes snapped open, only to find himself in a completely unfamiliar place—dark, like a mountain cave.

He didn't have time to examine his surroundings. He only had one thought—to search.

Qin Mo… Where was Qin Mo?

Qin Mo wasn’t here.

Panic set in immediately. Shi Qing leaped off the carefully arranged jade bed and dashed toward the cave entrance.

He had to find Qin Mo. He had to see him.

His hands trembled from fear, his expression frozen, his mind in chaos. He dared not think of anything else—just one thing.

Qin Mo. Qin Mo. Where was he?

As soon as he stepped out the door, he ran into a solid chest. A cool, crisp scent instantly surrounded him. Shi Qing lifted his head and saw a familiar face.

Even in the dim cave, the man remained dazzlingly striking.

Qin Mo—his master.

His heart finally settled back into his chest. Shi Qing stared at him in a daze before wrapping his arms around Qin Mo’s neck and pressing a forceful kiss to his lips.

He had been scared to death. His heart had nearly stopped.

Thankfully, it was just a dream.

How could he ever raise a blade against Qin Mo? How could he ever hurt him? Impossible. Absolutely impossible.

His clumsy kiss successfully earned a fierce response. His lips became swollen from the friction, his tongue went numb from the intense sucking, but Shi Qing didn’t want to let go. He wanted Qin Mo to kiss him—just like before—roughly, passionately, filled with possessiveness and relentless desire.

He was even crazed enough to want Qin Mo to take him, to claim him, right here in this unfamiliar, unknown place…

As if only by doing so could he erase the horror of that nightmare.

But his master stopped him.

Holding the still slightly trembling boy in his arms, Qin Mo placed a gentle kiss on the tip of his nose and said, “Don’t rush. I’ll take you somewhere.”

Shi Qing gazed at him blankly, his eyes never leaving his face. Hearing Qin Mo’s words, he obediently nodded.

Qin Mo, seeing this, gently brushed his hand down Shi Qing’s back, soothing him patiently.

The Soul-Locking Mirror had bound Shi Qing’s soul—he shouldn’t have any memories. But judging by his reaction, perhaps some residual feelings remained.

To distract him, Qin Mo took his hand and led him out of the small side cave.

Without using any magic, they simply walked hand in hand. About three or four minutes later, they turned into another passage. As they moved forward, the surrounding crystals seemed to respond to their presence, lighting up one by one with a warm golden glow.

Normally, Shi Qing would have widened his eyes in curiosity, examining each one with fascination. But now, he had no interest.

Simply holding Qin Mo’s hand wasn’t enough—his heart still felt uneasy. Deeply uneasy.

But since Qin Mo wanted to take him somewhere, he had to follow.

After passing through the passage, they arrived at a massive stone door. Under the faint golden light of the crystals, the pitch-black door reflected an eerie white sheen. Looking closely, one could see countless fine, intricate patterns covering its surface.

From afar, these patterns were hard to distinguish. But up close, they made one’s scalp tingle.

And the closer one got, the stronger the scent of blood became.

Shi Qing frowned slightly—the door was already open.

He had a strange feeling that the patterns had been made of blood, but they disappeared too quickly for him to be certain.

What he didn’t know was that the patterns were indeed formed from blood—all of the blood that once flowed through Lu Jiuyuan’s body was now here.

As the stone door swung open, the sight inside left Shi Qing completely stunned.

Although he had mentally prepared himself, seeing it firsthand was still overwhelming—mountains of rare treasures, divine-grade artifacts shining brilliantly, supreme-grade spirit stones tossed about as if they were mere pebbles, and stacks upon stacks of immortal pills and medicine boxes, almost forming a small mountain.

Shi Qing was speechless.

This… This was probably Lu Jiuyuan’s treasure vault.

Then, excitement surged through him.

An indescribable emotion welled up in his chest, making his nose sting. He turned and threw himself into Qin Mo’s arms, burying his face against him.

His master had never cared about material possessions. If not for him, Qin Mo wouldn’t even have remembered this place existed.

Lu Jiuyuan was dead, but opening a secret realm like this was no easy task.

Yet while he had been sleeping so carelessly, Qin Mo had already done all this.

Then he recalled Qin Mo’s casual words earlier—"I’ll take you somewhere."

In truth, it had been meant as a surprise.

He didn’t care about how valuable these things were—what moved Shi Qing the most was Qin Mo’s intention behind it all.

His master.

His obsessive, possessive master.

And yet, for him, Qin Mo had done all this.

Shi Qing's nose burned even more.

He was about to start crying from sheer emotion.

Being suddenly embraced like this, Qin Mo was slightly stunned. He could feel the person in his arms trembling—was he still scared? Were these things not enough to distract him?

Qin Mo frowned slightly, gently stroking his back as he softly asked, “You don’t like it?”

Shi Qing’s voice was muffled. “…I like it.”

Qin Mo curved his lips. “Then why aren’t you storing it in your space?”

Shi Qing’s hands were really itching now. He lifted his head, his eyes red but shining brightly. He pulled Qin Mo down a little so they were at eye level and called out, “Qin Mo.”

“Hmm?”

Shi Qing looked at him and shouted loudly, “I love you!”

There was clear amusement in Qin Mo’s eyes. “Mm.”

“I really, really love you!”

“Okay.”

“I love you so, so, so much!”

“I know.”

“I will love you forever and ever and ever… mmm—” Very good, his mouth was finally completely sealed.

A passionate, dizzying kiss. Shi Qing felt as if all his previous unease had vanished. He had never thought he could love someone this much, as if his entire heart had been filled to the brim.

Completely satisfied—having this person by his side, he had everything.

As they kissed, Shi Qing’s hands started getting restless. He tugged at Qin Mo’s clothing, but Qin Mo stopped him. Though the complex layers of clothing weren’t pulled apart, the struggle had left them slightly disheveled.

Shi Qing glanced at him from the corner of his eye, and suddenly, his entire body froze.

The black robe—its collar loosened by their pulling—revealed a hideous scar on Qin Mo’s fair neck.

Shi Qing’s eyes darkened. Without warning, he grabbed at Qin Mo’s clothes, and with a slight exertion of strength, completely tore them apart.

A broad, bare chest was exposed, covered in a web of intricate scars. One after another, like the savage bite marks of a ferocious beast, sinking viciously into Shi Qing’s heart.

He stared blankly, sharp pain spreading from his heart to every part of his body. The memories he had tried to erase came flooding back like a raging tide. Shi Qing’s face turned deathly pale, his entire body trembling uncontrollably. His lips were nearly colorless as he murmured, “It… it was me.”

It wasn’t a dream—none of it was a dream. He had really done it. He had acted like a madman, trying to kill Qin Mo. He had actually thrust his sword toward Qin Mo’s heart!

He actually… he actually…

A deep sense of despair gripped his soul. Shi Qing was completely dazed.

Qin Mo’s brows furrowed slightly. If Shi Qing didn’t wake up, he wouldn’t be able to return to the system space, meaning he couldn’t exchange for medicine. Though the pill he took had stopped the bleeding and replenished his spiritual energy, these scars couldn’t be healed in a short time. And with Shi Qing’s current cultivation level, even illusionary techniques couldn’t fool him.

“Qing Qing.” Qin Mo pulled him into his arms, holding him tightly as his voice softened. “It’s okay. Everything is okay now.”

The person in his arms was trembling uncontrollably. Qin Mo touched his neck, and the icy chill made his pupils contract.

The next moment, he abruptly pulled him away. Sure enough… his spiritual energy had gone berserk!

Shi Qing was currently at the ninth stage of the Nascent Soul realm, a critical breakthrough point. His cultivation method, Yi Ran Jue, had also reached the sixth level. At such a crucial moment, extreme emotional turmoil could easily lead to Qi deviation.

There was no time to think. Qin Mo immediately released his divine sense, entering Shi Qing’s body without resistance. What he saw was a sea of spiritual energy violently clashing within his consciousness.

Fortunately, Qin Mo’s cultivation was far superior to Shi Qing’s, and he had discovered the problem in time. Though their spiritual energies were of different origins, Shi Qing was extremely familiar with Qin Mo’s divine sense, showing no rejection—on the contrary, he was completely obedient. Under Qin Mo’s careful guidance, the chaotic spiritual energy raging within Shi Qing’s dantian slowly calmed down.

When Qin Mo withdrew his divine sense, the emptiness in Shi Qing’s eyes gradually focused.

The moment he saw Qin Mo, his large eyes quickly filled with tears. Without making a sound, large teardrops fell one after another.

He looked at Qin Mo, his lips still trembling, but he tried his best to speak: “I’m sorry… I’m sorry… I’m sorry, Qin Mo, I’m so sorry!”

Qin Mo lowered his gaze slightly, looking at him with unprecedented tenderness. “I know—you won’t leave me.”

Shi Qing nodded vigorously.

“You belong to me.”

Shi Qing nodded even harder.

“You love me.”

Shi Qing bit his lip, unable to speak, and could only keep nodding.

Qin Mo gently stroked his pale neck, smiling slightly. “See? I trust you so much—why don’t you trust me?”

Shi Qing was stunned.

Qin Mo lifted his chin and kissed his swollen lips. The taste of tears was bitter, yet he found it unexpectedly sweet. He deepened the kiss, caressing this soft body. A deep satisfaction filled his heart.

Believe me.

Even if you truly left me, betrayed me, abandoned me—it wouldn’t matter.

I would take you back and keep you by my side forever.

The kiss gradually slowed, the atmosphere turning increasingly intimate. Gentle kisses trailed down his delicate collarbone, his fair chest, his flat stomach—bit by bit, with patience and care, filled with tenderness, affection, and comfort, as he claimed this body that belonged to him.

Until he pushed in deeply with force, Qin Mo gazed at him in fascination, his dark eyes filled with an intense and unreserved possessiveness.

Qing Qing, my Qing Qing, there is no need to apologize—because you will never have that chance.
