IFIWMWMAE Chapter 4: So Lustful at Such a Young Age

After gnawing all the meat clean off the chicken leg bone, I wiped my mouth. The grease from the chicken leg smeared onto my face, leaving a sticky mess.
Xie Lin said I was disgusting and ordered a maid to take me away to wash up.
Not only did he find me filthy, but even the maid looked me up and down in disdain and hesitated to lay a hand on me.
“Enough, enough. You can leave,” Xie Lin waved his hand, dismissing the maid.
I realized that Xie Lin had quite a good temper. He wasn’t arrogant and was rather easygoing toward the people of the Demon Realm.
Xie Lin tossed me into the warm pool and followed in himself, leaning against the edge with his eyes closed for a nap.
I rested my hands on the smooth, jade-like railing, my eyes widening in awe.
The pool was encircled by layers of undulating mountains, rippling like waves. A faint mist rose from the peaks, shrouding them in an ethereal haze, their deep blue-green hues fading into shadowy silhouettes.
Looking out from the pool, the color of the mountains gradually lightened until it blended with the sky, merging seamlessly with the drifting white clouds.
But all of that was merely the background.
Compared to Xie Lin, everything else instantly paled.
He kept his eyes shut yet still found the energy to mock me. “What’s so interesting about a few measly mountains?”
I felt guilty and quickly sank into the warm water, scrubbing myself vigorously, pretending not to have heard him.
After washing myself thoroughly from head to toe, I stole a glance at Xie Lin.
He had remained motionless for nearly half an hour, as if he had already passed away. The thought startled me. Then I remembered that he had been injured by Immortal Lord Zezhou and that I had even hit him with a rock.
I carefully crept closer to him and reached out a finger to check his breathing.
Nothing!
My mind went blank. Panicked, I hastily pulled open his outer robe, wanting to check his wounds.
“What are you undressing me for?” Xie Lin opened his eyes. “So young, yet already so lecherous.”
Flustered, I stammered, “I—I’m not! I just wanted to… to check your wounds.”
“No need to check,” Xie Lin sighed. “The injury is severe—I might not survive past tomorrow.”
He was lying. If he were really on the verge of death, he wouldn’t have spent the day playing pai gow with a group of people.
The next day, sure enough, he was alive and well, drinking strong liquor, eating roasted meat, looking perfectly fine.
Xie Lin even maliciously forced me to drink wine, laughing uproariously as the spicy burn made me tear up.
The Second Prince had told me that Xie Lin didn’t eat people, and he was right—Xie Lin didn’t devour flesh, but he certainly enjoyed toying with people.
I was angry, but I didn’t dare lash out at him. I could only swallow my grievances in silence.
After staying in the Demon Realm for a few days, I began to grow anxious. Behind Xie Lin’s back, I sneaked off to plead with the Second Prince.
The Second Prince was always unwell. Every time I saw him, he was lying in soft cloud-patterned blankets, his face flushed as if he had a fever.
Could immortals get sick?
I asked him, but he hesitated and stammered without giving me a clear answer. Still, he promised to send me back as soon as possible.
Xun Xi was also there today, dressed in plain white inner robes, leaning against the headboard. His neck bore scratch marks, and when he saw me burst in, he glared at me fiercely.
His eyes were full of hostility, like a wolf cub wearing human skin.
I fumbled to speak, but before I could finish, Xun Xi waved his hand—and I was instantly sent back to Xie Lin’s inner hall.
Just before I disappeared, I thought I heard the Second Prince whimper softly. It was low and weak, sounding pitiful.
I never sought out the Second Prince again. Instead, I stuck by Xie Lin’s side every day, hoping that the Immortal Lord Zezhou would come to rescue me.
But Immortal Lord Zezhou never came. I grew impatient and attempted to escape a few times in the dead of night. Each time, before I even made it past the Demon Palace’s gates, I was caught and dragged back.
Xie Lin threatened me, “Originally, I only wanted a string of ghost bells from Su Zezhou. Now, I want at least double. Every time you run, I’ll demand an extra immortal artifact.”
Terrified, I stopped trying to flee and became Xie Lin’s little lackey. I scrubbed his back during baths, picked out food for him during meals, and hummed tunes before bedtime…
The tasks were simple, yet I couldn’t do them right. While washing his back, I accidentally pulled out a bundle of his hair. Every meal, the food I picked for him ended up being rejected and landed in my own stomach instead.
It was much later that I realized people of the Demon Realm, like immortal cultivators, didn’t need to eat. He had been teasing me on purpose.
Still, compared to Lu Yan and the others bullying me, I felt that Xie Lin was already showing me mercy.
I waited day and night, and finally, the Immortal Lord Zezhou arrived.
It was at dusk. The sun had almost completely set, leaving only a sliver above the horizon. The evening glow spread like rouge across the sky, casting dazzling hues around the lingering sunlight.
The Immortal Lord Zezhou descended upon the Demon Palace like a god, his presence commanding and awe-inspiring as he demanded that Xie Lin hand me over.
Tears welled up in my eyes with excitement—I nearly leaped into his arms.
Xie Lin, however, hooked his sword around my waist sash, his expression leisurely as he bargained with the Immortal Lord Zezhou.
In the end, Xie Lin extorted a whole pile of treasures from him. Not only that, but he shamelessly mocked the Qingxu Sect, clicking his tongue and sighing as he commented, “The poor little thing looks like he’s starving—his face is barely the size of a palm.”
Fearing that Xie Lin would bring up the child bride incident, I shouted at him in desperation, “Shut up! Your face is the size of a palm!”
Xie Lin glanced at me sideways and chuckled. “Ungrateful brat. As expected of the Qingxu Sect—you’ve mastered their essence.”
Immortal Lord Zezhou remained expressionless. “What does Qingxu Sect have to do with you?”
Xie Lin couldn’t be bothered to argue. He sneered and waved him off, telling him to take me and get lost.
As we were leaving, he even added, “Make sure to feed the kid well—he needs at least four or five dishes per meal.”
I clutched the Immortal Lord Zezhou’s wide sleeve, afraid he would find me troublesome for eating too much.
On the way back to Cuiwei Peak, Immortal Lord Zezhou gently asked me what I liked to eat, saying he would have the kitchen prepare it for me in the future.
I didn’t see any hint of disdain in his eyes—only a faint, gentle smile. Encouraged, I mustered up the courage to name a few dishes.
He agreed to them all and even patted my head, saying, “Your soul is unstable—you need careful nourishment. From now on, I will teach you spell techniques.”
When he rescued me that day, he wasn’t this approachable. I was already immensely grateful to him, and now, his kindness moved me even more.
After Immortal Lord Zezhou returned, my situation greatly improved. Lu Yan no longer dared to bully me at will. At most, when Immortal Lord Zezhou wasn’t around, he would call me a money-losing burden, complaining that I had caused the Immortal Lord Zezhou to lose so many immortal artifacts.
He scolded me, and I accepted it without complaint. Deep down, I hoped that Immortal Lord Zezhou would teach me cultivation so that one day, I could take back the immortal artifacts from Xie Lin.
Immortal Lord Zezhou took the time to teach me a mental cultivation technique. I eagerly followed along, reciting the verses, but after just a few lines, a sharp pain flared in my head. At first, I could bear it, but soon the pain became unbearable. My whole body trembled as I curled up on the ground, desperately banging my head against the wall.
Immortal Lord Zezhou restrained me, placed his hand on my wrist, and entered my consciousness. His expression changed instantly.
He spent two full hours stabilizing my spirit. When the pain finally subsided, I found him staring at me, his gaze cold and piercing, carrying a chill that seeped into my bones.
Fear crept into me, and I timidly asked if I was going to die.
Immortal Lord Zezhou remained silent for a long time before finally saying, “Let’s not practice for now. We’ll talk about it later.”
I understood what he truly meant.
I couldn’t even learn the most basic mental technique. I was worthless.
